The Merchandise Subscription Box Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire process of curating, sourcing, and delivering merchandise for a subscription box service. This role requires an individual with strong retail and sales experience, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for selecting high-quality products that align with the target audience's preferences and interests.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute a strategic plan for the merchandise subscription box service, ensuring it aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
2. Curate and source a diverse range of merchandise, including but not limited to clothing, accessories, beauty products, home goods, and novelty items, that appeal to the target audience.
3. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitor offerings to stay ahead in the market.
4. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and exclusivity agreements when necessary.
5. Manage the end-to-end process of merchandise selection, including product evaluation, sampling, and finalizing product assortment for each subscription box.
6. Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling product descriptions, promotional materials, and engaging social media content to increase subscription sales.
7. Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to enhance the subscription box offering.
8. Coordinate with the operations team to ensure accurate inventory management, timely delivery, and excellent customer service for subscribers.
9. Monitor and manage the subscription box budget, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency at all stages of the process.

Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in merchandising, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.
3. Strong knowledge of retail sales principles and practices, including inventory management and pricing strategies.
4. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and consumer behavior.
